Our Mission

The Willmar CommUNITY Closet is dedicated to providing free clothing and shoes for all, operating 100% on community donations and the efforts of our dedicated volunteers.

We work with local businesses and non-profits to redistribute clothing and shoes within our commUNITY. If we can’t use it, we make sure it is responsibly recycled.

As of June 7, 2026, we’ve collected 13,991 lbs of textiles and redistributed 12,722 pounds of textiles from landfills in our commUNITY.

We strive to ensure dignity, warmth, and inclusive support for everyone in need, while promoting equity, embracing diversity, and fostering a community where all belong, always.

We have created a commUNITY safe space, where all are welcome ALWAYS.

What We’ve Achieved
